MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

This was the first production from the acclaimed Company Gavin Robertson for  children (5+) and young at heart adults.

"If Tim Burton made theatre shows for children it might be something like this!" BBC Radio

Lizzie lives with her father, Uncle and Grandpa in a lighthouse on Merrow Point. When she finds a bottle washed up on the beach, she takes it home as a present for Grandpa’s birthday. Little does she know it contains the heart of the Daemon of Merrow Deep – and he wants it back!

It seems that the legend of the sea might be true after all…

Inspired by an Irish folktale and using a soundtrack, introducing children to classical music, we went on a journey beneath the sea in a truly visual, magical and theatrical style.

‘Gavin Robertson is a master at staging shows with big intentions, enormously good, silly fun’ – The Guardian
